If the door is rumbling or grinding through its travel, especially right near the bottom bracket or top roller, that's usually a worn roller rather than a spring problem - springs fail quiet (or loud and sudden, but not progressively noisy). A roller going bad on a newer Lovejoy build often shows up as a rhythmic click-click-click as the door moves, one click per rotation, because a flat spot on the roller is hitting the track on every turn.
Georgia's climate here runs in the cold-moderate band rather than true winter cold, so we don't see the ice-cracking failures that split rollers further north. What we see instead is straightforward wear: nylon rollers that have simply logged enough cycles to flatten or crack, especially on doors that get used multiple times a day. If only one side of the door is loud, check that side's rollers first - it's almost always localized, not a whole-door problem.
